Shortly after leaving Wichita Mountains, we had a short stop to remove an awning from Hoyt and Bernice’s motorhome. It had shredded at the top and was unwinding.
The cotton fields along the road were just coming into bloom. There wasn’t much in the way of scenery along this stretch.
We passed a train transporting the blades for windmill. Those things are huge!
This area of Oklahoma is flat…sometimes you can see for miles.
We spent the night in Fort Supply, where it rained the entire time we were there.
As we crossed through a corner of Texas, we often saw grain bins and lots of feed lots.
As we neared Albuquerque, the topography began to get more interesting.
